Firstly, they tried to hand the car with me with an inspection sheet that was already filled out without me checking the car and wanted me to sign it. Secondly the car was not serviceable because the alignment was way off and the tire tread was so low that it could’ve gone out on me. I only found out about the tire tread when I stopped to get food and noticed that the wires were showing. I try to get a replacement vehicle and the customer service was able to get me that, but I had to drive to the nearest airport even though the tires could go out on me. So when I arrive they give me the run around about my contract being closed and I needed to see a manager. So after waiting in line just to have the next person refer me to the manager just to have them refer me to the next manager, I get told “I’m not customer service I don’t know why you’re not seeing me. The manager gets annoyed that everyone is sending customers his way and gets on the radio and chews everyone out for this. Basically, the first person could’ve resolved my issue but just decided to push his work off to someone else. Once we get everything situated, we have wait in an another line to get checked out by the security, at this point I’m running super late for my flight that’s 35 mins away. Apparently the paperwork I was given by the manager wasn’t the correct paperwork so the security guard treated me like I was stealing the car. He finally just gives up the attitude and let’s me leave and tells me if I get pulled over I would get in trouble with law enforcement. At this point I was just frustrated with the lack of competence these Avis employees have. I arrive to the Avis at the other airport I was supposed to depart from and it goes smoothly from there but turns out I was a few mins late for my flight all because it took about two hours dealing with the Avis at the other airport giving me the runaround. I am never going to use this company again awful and I had to buy new plane tickets because of an issue one person could’ve handled but decided to be lazy and just send the work to the next guy to have them do the same thing.
