Jeep car rentals in Hollywood

Run! Don’t walk! Las Vegas location. They force you to pay $30 per day for their insurance, after you have to take (2) shuttle buses from the airport. They know once you’re at their location you’re trapped and it would be very inconvenient to take the shuttle bus back to the main rental car location to go with a different company. After they force you to pay for their insurance literally any other rental car company would be cheaper, and much more convenient, without having to take multiple shuttle buses from the airport. Also, plan on blowing at least an extra hour after you get off your flight before you get into a rental car, same goes for drop off, you need to plan on being at their location at least 1 hour sooner than if you rented from a company at the main car rental location, without having to take multiple shuttles. Never again!

Great, staff was very helpful and efficient. Only complaint is how long the shuttle took picking my party and I from the airport, aside from that everything was excellent.

I requested a Hyundai Santa Fe 3 row or similar vehicle. The picture of the vehicle on the website was a 3 row Hyundai Santa Fe 3 row. The vehicle that was given to me was a 2 row. The worker said I did not order a 3 row, but the picture clearly shows a 3 row.

Online the deal was supposed to be all fees included for 50 dollars, more hidden fees totaled over 100 dollars.

They nickel and dime you on insurance, unfriendly staff, inconvenient location.

I wish they explained a bit more about what is needed at the pickup process. Also the insurance I purchased through Expedia wasn’t accepted there, so I’ve been fighting rental cover.com to refund me the coverage I couldn’t even use.

Office was closed when I arrived, was told to come back the next morning, when I did I was told they had cancelled my booking and told me just to hire from another company. Appalling.

Excellent. Was quick picking up the car and when I returned it was also quick. Car like in great condition. Was new, and running perfect. Very clean. This is my second time renting from them.

They should be clearer about the experience. The process is virtual and takes significantly more time than expected - time to the hut, time to wait for a virtual agent, and you have to take your own pictures of the whole car. Also, hidden fees once you rent.

The car constantly had mechanical problems.

Suboptimal location at the airport. Bus and small shuttle bus needed to get there. Outdated office space. Lots of paper work that was outdated and vague. Insurance not included in the rental price, some hassle with external website for this. Signing of photos of the state of the car before actually seeing it.

I had reserved and prepaid for a mid size car and they gave me the lowest economy car. I told them that was not the car I had reserved but they refused to change it. They also made me pay for an extra insurance even though I showed them the insurance confirmation email I had prepaid. So I ended up paying twice for insurance. Finally, they made me pay for the car cleaning service even though the car was practically clean at return. Not the best service to be honest, small company, not a big fleet to choose from.

The car advertised, a Lincoln Continental, was not available. The "or similar" was a Chrysler 300, which is not quite similar in my opinion, but that is OK. The rub is, according to the rental agent Hertz does not rent Lincolns; so, why advertise it?
