The car was beautiful and we enjoyed it. I had never driven a hybrid before so it would have been nice if someone expected that most people haven’t. I felt pretty dumb having to come to the booth and ask someone how it worked. I also found out at the last minute that this agency did not want me to take the car outside of a specific area geographically. Perhaps that was in the information, but I certainly didn’t see it until we went to check out the car. Potentially a big problem and to find out on the day we picked it up was unhelpful.

As someone who doesn’t use credit cards, I was not able to rent a car from Thrifty. I offered a to put 3 times what is required as deposit and was willing to show utility bills and car insurance for payment history. FICO is a joke and so is this debit card policy they have. All this being said, I realize the employees I interacted with don’t make these rules. They did their job very well (there was a very long line and it was the airport location) and were polite and tactful.
I went to Hertz and pick up car but they didn’t let me rent it. I need my money back. They said I need to use same card when I purchased from you guys but I payed with Affirm and they didn’t accept my card.

My experience was terrible. Despite making a reservation with Hertz in March, they didn't have the car I reserved and made no attempt to find me an alternative. They cancelled my reservation and did not give me a refund. I will not be renting with Hertz again.

Pickup was delayed by 1 1/2 hrs. even though we had a set time. Dropping off though was terrible. The Clayton, Missouri site was to close by Saturday/noon. We got there at 11 am only to find the place closed. Instructions on the door stated to drop off original receipts and key in the drop box. Problem - there were only three parking spaces available and they were all filled! The 1-800 number for assistance is a terrible phone tree without an option to leave a message. We ended up parking on the city street and hoping the car wouldn't be ticketed. We had to wait until Monday morning to confirm that they had found the car (we had left a note to its whereabouts). This is our second bad experience with Hertz. The people at the desks are just fine but the company policies are not customer friendly.

They gave our car away and didn’t have another one available for another 4 hours after our scheduled pickup time. Terrible experience given we had made the reservation 3 months in advance.
Super smooth and fast experience both at pick-up and drop-off. Konstantin (I think) was especially friendly at Portland Airport, but so was the person at the pick-up.

I've got the car from Rentalcars.com who is the agent booked the car from Enterprise Rent-A-Car. I was paying for a luxury BMW X5 or similiar and didn't get it. Instead, it was a value-oriented SUV. I feel cheated and am very disappointed at the arrangement from Rentalcars.com . They seems to be Indian run company based in UK.
I was pleased with everything except that they marked off the on me the same minute windshield ding that was noted in the previous damages list when I picked up the car, presumably because I had added insurance, so they can file another claim. Possibly just an error, but judging from the previous reviews it seems suspicious.

I found out I was driving a car which the tab was expired and because of that, they told me to change the car in the middle of my car rental. They told me I would need to pay extra because the car would be upgraded. After a long argument, I was able to keep the car with the expired tab. I also asked to add my husband for the additional driver but their response took so long that I had to drive by myself. I would not use this company ever again.

Overall was lied to by the guy working the desk. When picking up the car I was told I had paid too much money when scheduling rental online. So in order to get the "value" for what I had paid they told me they would add on the insurance and toll pass. Only to find out I would be billed extra for that later. Then I was told as long as I had the car back before they close I would only be charged one day. I had the car 26 hours and returned the car an hour and a half before they closed. Then I was still billed for having the car 2 days.

They gave me a rear-wheel drive vehicle instead of the AWD vehicle I had specified. I needed to buy $150 of chains to get over a mountain pass and the entire trip was stressful and dangerous.
Pickup staff was not friendly and did not offer any advice regarding the stair going to pickup the car.

The car itself is efficient and drives well. The pickup was poor: had to wait 10 minutes for agent to come to the door to check me out. The car was dirty inside and out and a few items were in the car from a previous renter. It seems to be a one man show at the pickup location. Not good at all.

The budget location was closed when we arrived, even though we were on time for our pickup. When I called budget to try and get a car at another location, they said they were completely booked out. I had to scramble to get a new rental from another company. Won’t be going back to Budget.

The tyres on our Mustang were so worn as to be unsafe. We discovered this when we had a puncture. We replaced all 4 tyres and Budget reimbursed us. But the car should never have been rented out with such tyres.
Car had significant damage upon pickup. They initially did not want to note this on the paperwork until I asked multiple times.

Did not have the model that I reserved. Had no similar or better. Would not change pick-up to earlier time. Provided sub compact for short term (1 day of original 8 day) so we could get to our destination and "swap out" for our original model. Unable to find "reserved" size vehicle at final destination for original cost. Alamo "800" staff could not help. Not the start to our trip that we expected.

Rental location in Seattle was confusing to get to. Once we figure out where to go they almost gave us a car with expired tags. Check in process was very long. Second car they gave us was never inspected or walked through with us. The car play function with is what we needed would constantly go off and on (tried multiple phone cables, phone projection/Bluetooth separately with no success) which made it extremely difficult to use for our West Coast drive from Seattle to San Francisco.
