It was really frustrating that my 25 year old daughter, who lives in my home (easily verifiable, with a look at both of our drivers licenses), couldn't be added as a driver because she chooses not to have a credit card. She probably has a larger savings account than I do, and zero credit card debt, but somehow I was a safer risk than she is. Your staff was fine, the car was fine, picking up and dropping off was fine. What wasn't fine was driving tired because I couldn't add a second driver because she "only" has a debit card.
