Ford car rentals in Zurich

Took 45mins to get out the garage. Very little customer service from the dudes working there, seemed to want to quickly get rid of you and didn't read the booking. Super odd rental experience.

Hello there, the car they give it to me was having a sound under the hood. They told me this is the fan of AC don’t worry, the wheels rim of the car has a cover they tighted with zip-ties one of this rim get off many times so I took the rim cover out of the rim, they told me I hit the car rim but I didn’t, they charged me a $100 for nothing Thanks

I was 45 minutes late to my booking with Sixt due to an unexpected flight delay and they made me rebook a full new rental and gave me no refund on the first one. This cost me an extra $900 the first day of my trip. I'll never use them again for this

Made a reservation and when we arrived at the counter after taking the shuttle with 5-6 others, the lady at the front desk didn’t have a car for any of us, all different reservations. She was very nasty and rude. There was one gentleman who paid upfront and she didn’t help him at all, she left him hanging. They pushed us next door to another company where we all got ripped off on pricing and insurance. Never again will I rent from this place. It was horrible experience with two small kids tagging along with us.

It was garbage they took my money at the from the site and then when I went there they had no vehicles they said but that wasn't true because I waited and my friend went in and asked if they had any vehicles and they did then I went back in and magically they had no vehicles again don't ever use this company it was just steal your money

I’m waiting on a refund. The rental service was sold and could not be delivered. Due to location being closed at time of pick up and no cars available to rent. The service was undeliverable. Luckily I discovered this via phone conversation with the rental company before wasting my time looking for the rental office. Always call ahead to confirm purchase. Ultimately, I can’t give any advice on other aspects of the rental experience because it was not an available or completed transaction. So far, customer service to resolve this issue has been excellent.

The agent who we interacted upon our arrival was not helpful and was not empathetic at all. I forgot my physical cards and my husband’s credit card was acting up. We were trying to pay with cash/debit card and were told they won’t accept it and they do not allow apple pay or cash as the “whole of Switzerland” guess what? We were able to use apple pay anywhere and Sixt helped us get a vehicle without that unhelpful tone like that guy.

Wheelchair pickup from Eurocar office was less than seamless, but staff was helpful

Very smooth, easy pick up & drop off. Got upgraded to an automatic transmission which I appreciated. Friendly, capable staff throughout.

The lady at hertz counter made us wait for 30 mins. Last time the same insurance costed me 20 chf on the counter this time she charged 37 chf and when asked why is it more expensive than last time she said at counter is expensive. No briefing of the car type and features were mentioned. Poor service & unfriendly staff

There was nothing that I like I rented a VW Polo and they have a Suzuki Space something I could barely fit 1 luggage in the trunk the transmission was total garbage the car barely made up hill in the Alps and the breaks sounded like total garbage called 3 time to have the car switched and I got as much help as asking a garden gnomes for help. 10/10 will never recommend Hertz Zurich

It worked out perfect for our needs, exactly the bus we wanted and good pricing. All happy

It’s less my experience with Hertz, and more about Kayak’s lack transparency in bookings

So collection of the vehicle at Zurich, had to wait in line because only one staff member on duty. Not given paperwork on allocated vehicles condition. Informed was being upgraded to next sized car, of which I did not want as I booked an economy car to save fuel (as a result i spent more on fuel because of upgrade). Told no economy cars available!!!! Got to vehicle, which was covered in scratches, dents, marks etc (is this why I wasn't given the paperwork on condition of allocated vehicle). Informed lady in enterprise office who gave out the keys, wasn't interested in this car and told me to take photos of scratches etc and report them on the return. Told me she was too busy to look at vehicle (outstanding) During the use of this vehicle I was not impressed. Having returned vehicle at airport with full tank of fuel, and placed keys in security box, I have to this day received no confirmation from the company of the vehicles return, nothing. Not really good enough, and not what I paid for

Pick up in Kloten was quick and easy. I never like trying to be tricked into upcharging the price of my vehicle with add-ons such as extra insurance toll passes and such. These can double the price of your rental and your charge card covers you for the extra insurance. Having said that, we were charged over $550 for a scrape mark on the rear tire. Yes, a scrape mark. No damage to the rim and the tire was fine. We were only informed of this after we returned home. Unfortunately Avis, like almost all rental car companies are always out to "get you" with extra charges.
