Volkswagen car rentals in Fort Lauderdale

Got a rate of $35 for a week. Great, right? Until they demand a $2,000 hold on my credit card for insurance!

Terrible shuttle, pick up, drop off, costumer service, we got charged 60$ for car being “dirty”. We only left a little beach sand over floor mats..

It was ok.

The price quoted on the website was way less than I paid, so that needs to be addressed. I was quoted roughly $300 and paid more than $500.

The car was filthy when we picked it up. It looked as though someone had been shot, with blood splatter all over the interior of the roof.

Hidden prices and rental company doesn’t honor the agreed rate, stupidly high insurance costs mentioned by the rental associate (100% car value?) etc.

The price was good, the care came out of an accident and not been fixed, if I had time available in my hand I wouldn’t take it. But in general I been satisfied for the purpose which I needed it for. Mark was not flexible or friendly.

Very bad experience I have to wait for over 2 hours just to pick up the car then I was told I only have 150 miles anything over that I would be charged extra first and last time renting a car at this place

I arrived at the airport and was on hold for 45 min calling to get a shuttle, when the shuttle picked us up and I went inside I saw a empty counter, with a line of 3 people waiting.. while I could see in the back room 3 men having lunch.. not even caring there is a line.. or answering the phone.. when one finally did come out, he was extremely slow.. and then they all teamed up together in front of all of the different customers saying how important it was that we had to upgrade to they toll pass in order to get to the F1 race.. it will ave us so much time instead of waiting in the cash only line on the way to COTA, and we all did, except the fastest route from the office to COTA did not go on the toll road, which im sure they knew. either way non of this is worth complaining about.. except when I saw the car... what a junker! I mean straight from a DEMO DERBY! im going to a race filled with high end cars, and no issues this was all they had, but the quality.. just shocking! major damage on the car, it had clearly been in multiple accidents, and then they walk around to write down if they see any damage. "you're going to need a bigger pad" . anyway before they give me the keys they want to know when I fly out.. well that wasn't good enough they needed a Flight number and confirmation so I gave him my return ticket which he spent 20 min entering.. and I told him id be drooping off the car very early that morning before my 6am flight.. no problem only to arrive that morning and they are closed, with no drop off box anywhere to be found. and no shuttle to take us to the airport. super disorganized. last time I use NOT SO EASIRENT.

The car was dirty on the inside and outside. Other than that the car was new and was in good condition. One of the main complaints I saw online with Greenmotion is that they were rude to customers, my experience was diferent, everybody was nice and respectful to us.

The staff at Green Motion were kind and helpful when I had to ask for a way to get the car outside of business hours. I recommend this company!

Car was dirty when I receive it , and when its come time to return it at 7am I was waiting more than one hour for the office to open They block more than 2000$ for security even with the insurance that I pay before I scratch a little with the front bumper, and now I try to contact them to see what’s they gonna charge me for that but until now no answer Very bad company I will no do business with them in the futur I send this experience in my Facebook group to not use this company

I was unable to use your services when I landed because of some voucher issue. Had to come out of the pocket on the spot instead of going with the prepaid method. Really big inconvenience coming up with 600+ dollars on the spot for a week long rental.

The manager was Very attentive and accommodating Exceptional service!!!

I got to their location at 12:45am and they were already closed. My pick up time was 1am, it said they closed at 1am. I had to rent a car from another company or I would have been stuck at the airport until 6am

I stood in line for about 45 minutes to get the rental car. Way too long of a wait.

The wait at airport and confusion over what vehicle's that are actually ready and available was less than ideal but I understand . The truck we rented had a very strong smell of marijuana smoke that never went away all week. Especially noticeable after truck sat in 100* sun and then you opened doors.

Less hard sell on tolls, insurance, upgrade

The service was great at the front desk. Professional and fast. My reservation unfortunately expired since my flight was delayed so I ended up renting a more expensive car. I wish ACE would check the flight delay and adjust the reservation accordingly. Other than that the service was very good. Would rent again.

I was charged for an insurance that I did not want . At the time of rental I was told is part of the CDW but when I looked at my rental agreement I was charged for $5.99 a day for PAC! When called the counter the agent lied to me and said it’s part of the insurance! I asked what is PAC stands for and he just said again: it is part of your insurance! After the 4th time asking he said it is personal accidental coverage, which I declined and asked for to be removed from my rental agreement.

Quick and flexible. We changed return location and customer service approved in a minute. The customer service picks up your phone with no much waiting time.

Everything was smooth, got an upgrade and no issues picking up or dropping off.

The car rental place do not accept debit cards there is no place in the website or in there that says it had to take a taxy cab home it was a nightmare
