We really enjoyed our stay at Solar dos Mouros, all of the hotel staff extremely helpful and friendly. Francois in particular gave us some great recommendations and was always very welcoming. Rio and Francois who worked at the front desk were so friendly and welcoming, always going out of their way to help with carrying bags, asking how our day was, and giving us recommendations of things to do in the area! I recommend this place if you want a very central location, nice views from the hotel, and friendly staff!
There was a loft section in the room which was a bit unfinished- there was a metal pole of some sort that had been haphazardly covered in foam and made it look not so nice. However, we didn’t need to utilize that area as there was only 2 of us, so we just stayed out of the loft because the main part of the room was nice!
the front desk staff were wonderful. they helped us with what to do and see. they were attentive and helpful. Breakfast was tasty and plentiful. the fresh squeezed orange juice was great as was the breakfast cake.
No elevator! they took our bags up and down 59 steps so we didn't have to but add in the fact you will have more steps after a day of steps if you are walking around Lisbon all day!
The view was incredible. Wine and food divinal. Rio and Francois were excellent, they were both very welcoming and friendly.
Too many stairs and google maps is sending us to where we can’t go with a car. Shower outside should have hot water. Fridge in the suite would also be good.

There is no elevator in the old building, if u book the roof room, u need to walk upstairs for about 5 floors.
Very nice hotel in Lisbon old town. We had a spacious room with a beautiful city view. We were offered a free welcome drink and greeted warmly by the personnel. In our room, there was also free wine and fruits. Breakfast was also very good.

Great location for the Castle at the top of hill. Duplex extremely spacious. Huge bed, nice bathroom. Nice touch with welcome port, fruit and water in room. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Although the hotel is high up the hill there is a lift which gets you part way down/up the hill.
Superb view, great staff, and clean and modern room.
The location was generally but it was a bit a bit away from most restaurants. Be prepared to walk 10 minutes for most dinner and nightlife options.
