Easily the worst experience of my car renting life. I pay for a convertible (or something similar) over a month before I arrived. I get there and - surprise surprise - there are no convertibles. The “something similar” in offered is a Jeep Cherokee or Chevy Equinox. Oh! And the price difference between a convertible (which I paid for) and the Jeep (which I received) was given to me in a voucher which expires in a year - which I’d never, ever use. I also heard this quote from the guy working at the desk to me and two other customers… “Yeah sorry. We have way more reservations than we do cars.” Guess they don’t know what a reservation means. Rent from these guys if you want a nightmarish headache.

Website said 6pm close. Place closed AT 5pm regardless of customers waiting. My pickup time was 5pm. They didn’t care. Hertz customer service said a supervisor would call me back within the hour. No back. No help finding another Hertz to support me. Vacation ruined because they wouldn’t get me a car I reserved. Beware of this company.

Wasted 2 hours trying to return to 3 locations. The return location specified on our ticket was totally closed down as well as another location we tried. We finally found a third location to complete the return. You need to remove all locations closed down from your system to avoid having your valuable customer wasting hours , getting frustrated and to avoid losing their loyalty. For the inconvenience, please refund half of my rental cost. Thank you.
