Having a car would have been nice…! Not even the place I have rent didn’t advised me before I went there that they actually didn’t have any car available for me, they have transferred me to another Hertz location 10miles further telling me that they had plenty of cars and they would accept my rental confirmation code… well, this place didn’t has any car either!! When the customer service person called the other person to say « why haven’t you verified with me 1st? » he answered that we went there by our own and that he never said that they had car for us!!! Not enough to put my plans off, they also make us waste precious vacations time and money! I called when I came back asking if they could at least have a car ready for me for the next morning and they said they couldn’t guarantee… that ppl could extend their car rental so they couldn’t guarantee a car…!!!! Really?? How can you manger a business like that? Then he told me that the rental was canceled and I had to redo one!! He tried to make a rese For me as I was so upset and he kept me online for a half of hour for finally telling me that he couldn’t do it, I had to reso the a whole process online myself. Not even Hertz will never have my business, but Kayak either (was my first and last experience).

The day of my reservation I was called and told they didn't have a car for me. Told me another Hertz vendor would honor my rental. No one answered phone and the app wasn't working/failed every time I tried to switch locations. If I talked to the 1800 number there was a 5% charge. Ended up just going to airport Hertz and they doubled my price. I needed the car, it wasn't an option to wait a other day for one. Felt strong armed into paying way more.

The two young ladies we dealt with in person Saturday morning were very nice and apologetic, but there was nothing they could do with the fact there was not a Suburban or even equal vehicle for us.

I reserved a Premium SUV over a month earlier (5/1/21) than the date we needed (6/12/21), including multiple phone calls on the Friday before (6/11/21) to confirm we would have the large vehicle we needed. Not only is it extremely frustrating to call in and wait on hold for 10, 15, 20 minutes to be able to speak with an Enterprise rep, the fact we weren't called the day or two before our trip to let us know the vehicle we reserved would not be there so we could try and reserve it somewhere else is really ridiculous. I have rented from Enterprise many times before and this was by far the worse experience we have ever endured.

I specifically requested a pickup truck on Friday at noon from a satellite office, not at the airport. When came to pick up the vehicle, not only there was no pickup waiting, but they only had Jeep Wrangler available. I told them it was too small for what I’d be transporting. They gave me the number to airport office, but I couldn’t get a hold of them. To make matters worse, I now got slapped with some $50 fee from Avis for services that never came to fruition. Now I have to dispute this fee. Utterly disgraceful system

I did not like anything the guy that helped us treated us like he did not care to even help us. Being in the customer service business i k ow how important is the customer and the different ways that we can make a customer happy even if we cannot help we still do everything possible to make it happen but at least trying but the guy treated us very poorly because our credits were low. He does not even know our situation we had the money to rent it. But you can rest assure i will never go through budget again.
