Staff was helpful even though they were busy. The car was nice and clean and they helped me notice dings so I didn’t get changed.

The rental car situation is bananas right now. I wish I could have gotten an affordable car by the airport where I needed it but I had to take a Lyft way out to the edge of town to find a car that didn’t cost an arm and a leg, and I was lucky that I found one at all.

1st car had check engine light. 2nd had scratches and dents. Was charged per mole though was told unlimited when switching car. Avis is usually terrific. This time fell very short.

I was quoted one price and forced to pay another. The vehicle was filthy, I was assured since that wasn't my fault I wouldn't have trouble returning it. WRONG! The employees at the Houston location I returned it to called me a liar toy face when I tried to tell them what was told to me and that I didn't make the mess! They demanded I do their job for them, go and vacuum it or they were going to charge me $250 to do it. I did, and they still treated me poorly. I will never deal with with Hertz again! Worst customer service ever!

Reservation was made at wrong location, on site staff was not helpful and basically said they couldn't do anything. I called hertz directly and was able to fix the issue in 5 minutes, in the end things worked out but would've appreciated at least some effort from one site staff.

When I arrived at the rental office, I was told they were out of available rental cars despite my reservation. I’m not sure if this mistake is on Hertz or Priceline, but it did throw a very stressful curveball into my travel plans.

I filled the tank at a gas station next to the airport, and these idiots still charged me $27 for gas. I had to call and get a refund from someone that didn’t want to be on the phone. Not a fun process.

Pick up was easy, and the attendant was very friendly. The vehicle exterior was very dirty and smelled of cigarette smoke. Other than that the vehicle drove well and was reliable.

The vehicle was outside in the extreme heat. No dash/ window cover. Steering wheel was super hot. The dash was cooking and a strong plastic odor was overwhelming. It took a day to air out the vehicle from the plastic odor. Otherwise price was great, service representative was professional and polite. Recommend vehicles covered or at least dash covers provided if kept in direct sun.

We were in a Lyft and called the pick up location and told him we were close but traffic was heavy, He said they closed at 5PM. We asked if we could accomplish any paperwork over the phone to get the process going-to save our car. We arrived at 5:02 and it was dark, locked and they guy was gone. Lyft driver stated that was something he has never seen before and asked that we not judge Tucson by this guy. We had to hire a Lyft to our hotel, then next morning, Lyft out there again. He said because we had not paid for it the night before (which he did not tell us) we had to go with that days rates. The only car he had was a mini van, not the full size we had reserved. We had called corporate that morning to make sure all was OK - so were shocked for this hustle!! Then we went to return in Phoenix-at a hotel, and they did not have anyone to help the rental customers. A poor kid employee was running his tail off trying to help. He finally told us we could return the car at the airport and pay the fee. We chose to do that. This is a shock with your company!!
