I put my son on my rental as a driver. We asked two ladies at Hwy 111 (Palm Desert/Palm Springs) if there was a charge and was told no. When I returned the car, the Phoenix store had added a fee of $120. The charge was rescinded after some unpleasant discussion. I will look at Enterprise with more scrutiny and less favorable as I go forward.

I booked a car to pick up at The Phoenix international Airport through priceline through kayak and when I got there, they told me the car rental area was not at the airport but I had “rented a car 30 minutes from the airport“. When I asked to rent a car at the airport under the same reservation, they told me it would be over an hour wait to get a car and my best bet was to go to the original location. Well imagine trying to get from the airport to 30 minutes away without a car… It was ridiculous! They did tell me that“We have this problem often through Priceline”. I ended up having to rent a car through budget for over twice the estimated price that was given to me through priceline/kayak/enterprise. I would never do this again! What a rip off. It seemed like it was certainly the old “bait and switch”.

We had an 11:00am pick up we called and let them know that we were going to be late as we went to a different location didn’t reach enterprise till 1:00pm they didn’t have our car ready, we had to wait around for another hour before they finally upgraded us and we could be on our way.
